Not advice

The content on this website, including our calculators and checkers, is general information only. It is not tax, legal or financial advice and should not be relied on as such. Tax rules change, and their effect depends on individual circumstances. Please speak to us before acting on anything you read here.

No client relationship

Using this website, or contacting us through it, does not create a client relationship. That only happens once we have agreed terms of engagement with you in writing.

Referral fees

We pay referral fees to accountants who introduce clients, and we always disclose them to the client. Where a referral fee applies, we tell the client in writing before they engage us. The written disclosure includes the amount of the referral fee, or how it is calculated.

The Zero Risk guarantee

If HMRC opens an enquiry into a Zero Risk claim and, after the enquiry, rejects the claim in full, we refund the fees you paid us for that claim in full. This applies where you gave us complete and accurate information, kept the records we asked you to keep, and cooperated with the enquiry. It does not apply to a partial adjustment, or where the claim is rejected because of information that was withheld or inaccurate.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the general information on this website, or from your use of the website. The website is provided "as is", and we don't guarantee that it will always be available or free from errors.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
