Where necessary, we also share information with our professional advisers and insurers, with other professionals you ask us to work with (such as your accountant or solicitor), and with HMRC or other authorities where the law requires it or you instruct us to deal with them. We do not sell personal data.
ASWATAX LTD trades as ASWATAX, Holding Company by ASWATAX, Property Tax Advisory by ASWATAX, Demerger Tax, Transaction Tax Partners, Family Investment Company (familyinvestmentcompany.uk) and R&D Tax Partners. An enquiry made on any of those websites is held by the same company.

Some of our providers, such as Vercel, Calendly and Google, are based in the United States or may process data there. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified under it. Otherwise, we rely on the ICO's International Data Transfer Agreement or International Data Transfer Addendum (UK IDTA). You can ask us for more information about these safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to an engagement: up to 2 years from our last contact with you.
- Client files and engagement records: 6 years after the engagement ends, to cover tax and legal limitation periods.
- Anti-money-laundering records: 5 years after the business relationship ends, as required by the Money Laundering Regulations 2017.
- Analytics data: Google Analytics event data is kept for 14 months.
- Newsletter and guide sign-ups: until you unsubscribe. We may keep a record that you unsubscribed so that we don't email you again.
